From the Generation Kill episode Screwby, two small pic-spams of the scenes Q-Tip and Christeson have together: the first right before they light up this small household that Q-Tip did a drawing of, and the second one of them singing Hot in herre by Nelly. (as promised to
aboutademongirl ♥)
Q-Tip: Pfc. Christeson. How far you make it from the berm to the edge of that hut?
Christeson: (checks the binoculars) 'Bout a hundred meters? 120?
Q-Tip: Not bad. 'Bout 225. See that beehive shaped thing? Is where they cook their bread. It's always gonna show hot in a thermal.
Q-Tip: (he hands the drawing to Christeson) It's all about the windows and doors, man. Entrances and exits.
Christeson: Screwby.
~
Q-Tip: A little bit uh-uh, with a little bit uh-uh, (Christeson joins in) a little bit uh-uh, with a little bit uh-uh. I was like, good gracious checkin' my traces, so dangerous, tryin' to show patience, lookin' for the right time to shoot my steam, catching 'em when they run, hit the back of their knees.
Q-Tip: I'm leavin, please believin', oh, me and the rest of my heathens-- yo, man, how that line go?
Christeson: Q-Tip!
Q-Tip: What?
Christeson: Looks like two men in black pajamas, creepin' along our nine o'clock. (they pick up their guns) Two hundred meters.
Q-Tip: They armed?
Christeson: I think so. Should I light 'em up?
(they get permission that if the foot-mobiles got weapons to light them the fuck up. Christeson starts shooting.)
