What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
rented a house for the first time. fell in love.

Did you keep any new years resolutions & will you make more for next year?
no...
no but. this year - drink more water, eat more fruit & veg and be less lazy.

Did anyone close to you give birth?
no.

egypt

What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
motivation. control over my ridiculous jealousy.

What date from 2005 will remain etched in your memory and why?
7th of july & coming back from egypt to simon. also i had chronic diarrhoea.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
getting a few fat firsts on my lit and poetry essays.

What was your biggest failure?
looking after myself.

Did you suffer illness or injury?
cystitis and kidney infection. unbelievable pain. see above.

What was the best thing you bought?
all clothes and all shoes. and numerous bargainous bookshelf fillers.

Where did most of your money go?
rent, vodka, christmas and birthday presents and clothes.

seeing the sphinx and the pyramids and realising that i might be falling in love.

reading. eating nutritious food. budgeting.

sitting around the house too much. ignoring people & being antisocial.

with my family at home and then a belated christmas with simon.

What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
it was my twentieth and i went to snobs with housemates and friends. alo arranged a free half dayer with a load of my friends bands at the sunflower lounge and loved every minute. tea party back home.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
not being jealous. realising that when someone pays me a compliment i should accept it and not be suspicious.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept of 2004?
lycra catsuit/ white stilletoes/ massive hair. cher. kate bush. like 'wired for sound' but without the rollerboots.

What kept you sane?
solitude, mom & dad, amy, simon, zarah.

blondie for her cheekbones. jennifer lewis for her talent.

ethnic minorities and immigration
