Woot!

That's right. Who's your daddy?

The Bronco's picked off Brady for the first time since 2001, and did it again to end the game (go Lynch!). They forced 2 fumbles, and the Patriots tried to get tricky on a punt and caughed it up again. All that lead to the first Patriot loss in the playoffs since Brady took over, a Broncos undefeated at home record, and hopefully a lot of people realizing the Broncos went 13-3 (now 14-3) for a reason.

By the end of the night I wanted to watch the game on mute. I sat and watched CBS's pregame show, where everyone but Shannon Sharpe said the Pats were gonna come out early and score, and the Broncos would be thrown off their gameplan and lose. When they cut to the halftime show, Broncos up 10-3, the first thing said, by Dan Marino, was "I think the Patriots have to feel pretty good being down 7 in this game." WTF!? I THOUGHT YOU SAID THEY WEREN'T GOING TO BE DOWN, AND WOULD BE ON TOP! IF THAT'S THE CASE, THEY SHOULD FEEL SHITTY BEING DOWN BY 7!! Then, later in the game, after the Broncos were up by 11, about to score, with 8 minutes left on the clock, one of the announcers said that the "Patriots still have a good chance to win this football game." Are you kidding me? Can you just not relinquish the fact that the Pats could loose?

This is why I hate the Patriots. They're a good team. But they're not invincible. They will not win every game. They can lose. Yes, they've won 3 Superbowls. Yes, Brady is good. But god damnit, shut the hell up about them. They go into Denver, which is undefeated at home, the number 2 seed in the AFC, tied with the second best record in the league. And the entire time Denver had to beat the Pats. Not the Patriots would have to beat Denver. Its been like this every game, regular season and post season, since they won their second Superbowl. They're not infallible. As Denver showed, they can be beat. If they weren't in the division they were in, they might not have even made it to the playoffs. Yet they're still unstoppable somehow. And, unfortunately, next season, they'll probably be on the Patriots bandwagon again, saying "last year was a bad year but we feel the Patriots will be back in the Superbowl."

Anyways, back to the playoffs. If the Steelers win, which I don't have them doing, I will be happy, cuz then they have to come to Denver for the AFC Championship, and we don't have to face Indy for the 3rd consecutive playoffs. The Steelers in Denver I think we can win. The Broncos in Indy, however, I doubt we can. So go Steelers, even though I don't think they will win.
