Hello, everyone! Just dropped in to say that I've only just found this community and read through most of the posts and comments and am very glad of it. I'm not going to lie, I've been converted into loving Les Mis only recently - in fact, since the cast of the new Polish production was announced and a certain baritone whom I wholeheartedly adore

It IS awesome, and terribly addictive, too. The thing I love most about it is that it shows the story of Saint Francis not through the perspective of a saint, but of a man, with all his doubts, shortcomings, errors and fanaticism. And the music is simply beautiful. Getting me started on it is a very dangerous thing, though, so I'll shut up at this point while I'm still able to ;) (haven't seen the show since December, freaking DECEMBER! I can't believe the people running the theatre thought that three performances in an entire season would be enough... *growls*)

Pity indeed. I regret getting into the fandom so late, I seem to have missed most of the fun. Still, it's there to be read and enjoyed, so that's good.

I made clips to all the tracks that have been included on a CD that's been released as part of a special edition of a newspaper, and sadly, that's all there is of it available officially, and not even that anymore, since it hasn't been released for broader distribution (in some of the later clips I used a live recording that can be found here: http://www.wrzuta.pl/szukaj/francesco%20musical) Unofficially, though, there are a couple of fan recordings of the whole show and I'll post some links as soon as I can find them, if you're still interested after listening to the samples.

And should you want some translations or a summary of what's going on, be my quest :)
