In Which Marisa is in Like...
Hello world!!!!!
It has been a hot minute! So what's new in my life? Well, not much. I still work at Cook, still a microbiologist, still technically single. My life as been quiet and for the most part boring. I work, I come home, I walk Abner, I write/play WOW/watch a movie...except for Wednesdays when I go out with co-workers for our weekly food/drinks-fest. Thursday's is writing night with Mander and April...btw, I'm almost done with my book...FINALLY. And, I will admit....I'm in like.
In like?
Yes, in like...not in love, but in like. To whom? Well, I'm not gonna divulge the details. Simply because I'm unsure of how he feels. According to those close to me, they think he is....well, I've had experiences where people have sworn that a guy (say....a certain leprechaun) likes me for the same reason as this guy....then I look on facebook the next day and he's got a new girlfriend.
So I'm unsure.
For those of you who know the leprechaun know that I should never compare another man to him. The leprechaun is in a league of his own. April said that any girl who had ever had this guy in their lives (in whatever capacity: friend, lover, girlfriend, whatever) would need to create a support group. Yeah, she's right. But it doesn't help me that because I have had it happen to me, doesn't mean that it won't happen again.
But that doesn't mean that I can't muse. Enjoy our friendship, get butterflies in my stomach whenever I get a message from him...you know, the adorable-ness.
Anyway, life seems a little brighter these days....probably because it's summer hehe.
I'll try to post more often.
