It seems that my paid account ran out on me... today. Gah, infuriating. I knew I should have opted for a permanent account when I had the chance.
I don't think I'll be springing for another paid account, though. I mean, A) twenty bucks is a ridiculous amount of money for a very small list of incentives, B) I really only used it for the extra icon space, which was a permissible frivolity when the price was half what it is now, but twenty bucks for having the option of thirty 100x100 pictures now seems utterly ridiculous (I could buy three books with that!) and C) as trivial as it sounds, I'm not certain that I want to help support the Russian economy anyway.
Also, basic accounts now apparently have a friend limit, too. Who knew?
In other news... well, I'm almost finished with this semester, really. Exams are exams, and I'm really confused as to how Nasang'o chooses his essay topics, but such is the life of a college kid. Also, I realized today that I was trying to stretch my very thin topic over the word maximum, not the minimum, which took a huge panic attack out of the picture...
Once I get past Thursday, it's actually pretty much a cake walk. I mean, sure, after said Thursday I still have a 7,000 word minimum paper to write, and I have yet to find a topic, but hey! I've done more impossible things!
And once Thanksgiving rolls past, I'll only have a simple, ten page paper on NEW ZEALAND left, plus exams. Cake walk.

At work today, I had one boss call me, "my dependable Caitlin!" which made me grin and blush (and yes, I WANTED to respond with, "thank you, really, but it's KEE-LAN, with no bloomin' T"), and my other boss offer me two extra hours of work time. But I'd have to be answering phones, and I'm not entirely certain that I want to do that. But we'll see.
Finally, Washington University went and outlawed water bottles on campus. Because they're bad for the environment.
