My school is trying to give me a complex.

I don't know what it is about Memphis that absolutely ruins my skin, but it certainly adds to why I hate it hear.  Insert something funny about the pollution in this city.
I mean, my skin goes from being nearly perfect in STL to looking absolutely wretched here--to the point where I feel the immense need to rigorously wash my face three times a day.  And it still does nothing.  I mean, I'd expect at least flaky, dry skin, not skin that feels immensely oily four hours later.
It's almost enough to drive me to buy overpriced Neutrogina products.
Almost.
(I'd rather blow my paycheck on a pair of these, though.)

Life right now is full of equal parts eyebrow-raising fail and intrigue, all of which deserve a post of their own and none of which I will ever have the time to write.  Current pet peeves are people who don't answer important work-related e-mails and therefore force to make me e-mail them again, the unnaturally high humidity (and therefore associated mold) and the randomness of being attacked nonstop by gnats (that one's a new feature, darling) in my room, the fact that the Vista operating system eats up fifteen gigs of my system (another fifteen belonging to my personal files, and ten going to the various WTH-does-this-even-do?! folders on my C drive...), and Twix bars costing ninety cents on campus.

And I'm somehow managing to balance four upper-level classes, two ten-hour-a-week jobs, personal writing (sadly, mostly fanfiction, because that's easier) and finishing a watercolor a week.  But that's why I, uh, haven't posted.  Or been on AIM.
"Oops?"

(I also have a test tomorrow in Art History for which I haven't -really- studied.*  It might have something to do with only being five percent of my grade.)

*I originally wrote, "I also have a test tomorrow in Art History that I haven't really studied for," then realized that that had an incorrect ending, which then prompted me to try and fix it.  Unfortunately, this endeavor was predestined for Epic! Fail, because I've NEVER understood how to rephrase those...phrases.

P.S. It's Piper's Birthday today
