It WOULD be, if this applied to national flights--but I think it's only applying to international. Lawyers would raise HELL if American Airlines tried to get away with it, thank godXD

I don't even see how a) customs officers would KNOW whether it was illegally gained or not, or b) how it's supposed to act as a deterrent against illegal downloads anyway.
"oh, darn! i guess ill just have to leave THAY Ipod at home. oh well, I have FIVE OTHERS that only have 1/3 stolen music on it..."

and how do they plan on enforcing the "no internet" idea, exactly?
