Review: If you are looking for an action packed drama filled with conspiracy, blackmail, blood, fights, etc., "Bionic Woman" will be for you!

The pilot sucks you right in the action and the mystery behind the show. Of course, the action doesn't last the 42 minutes of the episode since they have to introduce the characters but there is a lot going on and it'll keep you entertained.

The actors (except Mae Whitman, I'll get to her in a moment) are really believable and make us feel what they are going through. As for Whitman, she will not be part of the series as the show recast her role after the pilot. Since her role on "Arrested Development," the actress tried to play angry teenage girls but she is not really good at it (she is best in roles such as the one she had on AD). So they recast the role and supposedly, the character will not be deaf anymore. Miguel Ferrer plays a character that is highly similar to his "Crossing Jordan" role. The difference? His "Bionic" role is clean shaven!

The camera work, editing, and the some effects are well done. However, the FX of Jamie running in the woods as she escapes the compound is not well-done. Let's hope they tweak that before the pilot airs.

The storyline are intriguing and interesting. The fact that there are two bionic women (the original and Jamie) can bring countless of storylines, twists and turns. Especially since the "original" one is a bad seed!

The soundtrack helps highlight what is going on.

"Bionic Woman" is promising. If only it aired in another timeslot, I would probably give it a shot. But I already have two series to follow in that timeslot ("Bones" and "Private Practice"), I can't add a third one.

"Bionic Woman" will air on Wednesdays at 9 pm EST on NBC. There premiere will air on September 26. Visit the official website of the show.
