Circus composer, could you write this all down?
I have these outrageous plans for the future.
They're things I've always wanted to do..
My mum wasn't too keen on me going to Ireland.
but she loved the pre med scenario when I told her.
We play this game all the time.
"So what is Emily doing these days?"
"Shes studying to be a psychologist, shes actually in Ireland right now studying something about the effects of the war between catholics and protestants on young adults. Its silly if you ask me. She says she'll come back here and get her doctorate, but shes found someone there, and I don't know if she'll ever leave. She really loves it over there. I keep pleading with her to come back to the States but I guess she's really happy, so what more could a mother want.."
"Shes in her first year of med school. I know, I didn't think she could do it either, but apparently she's really applied herself. She went to Africa with a couple friends during her junior year at High Point, and helped build houses and treat children and teach about AIDS. She said it was a real eye-opening experience, she said she'd like to go back as often as she can, maybe raise some money or start a fund, but I don't know when she'll have the time. She just got engaged. We told her to wait, but you know how kids are."
