Disclaimer: I don't own any of the bands or the members mentioned just the OC's that show up

Ruki walked over to where his boyfriends sat and placed his hand on Uruha’s shoulder eyeing the seat they had left between them skeptically before roaming to his dark haired lover. “You can’t really be mad at me? I was going to kiss you, too.”

Ruki raised his eyebrow at the question and took a tentative step forward. “Really?”

“Ruki…” Uruha started before Ruki turned his gaze to the blonde guitarist and shook his head.

He sat in the seat provided facing Aoi and leaned back against Uruha. He motioned Aoi to come toward him and the other obeyed moving forward cautiously. Ruki’s hands found their way around Aoi’s neck as he moved him closer and their lips joined in a sweet kiss. Ruki knew now was not the time for the type of kiss he wanted. He would have to settle for short and sweet but he would get what he wanted later. He had been worried about his lover while he was gone and he knew Uruha had been as well. He pulled away and smiled at Aoi before taking his hand and turning to face the table. It was really a beautiful sight to see all of them joined together like this. The bands still seemed to be sitting together for the most part but Arashi was sitting on the other side of the table where most of the Gazette were so Ruki didn’t have to choose between sitting next to his lovers and sitting next to his cousin.

He caught Jun’s eyes and smiled happily at his cousin who seemed to be trying to draw Ohno’s attention from one of his other band mates. They only broke eye contact when the door opened revealing Hiroto carrying Aki to her father with Yamapi leading in a distraught looking new comer holding a baby.

“We found our friend here, Akanishi Jin and his baby at Tegoshi and my apartment. We invited him along… he’s sort of in shock right now. But Jin this is our group we will be taking care of each other from now on… Why don’t you come and sit with Tegoshi, Ryo and I.”

Ryo rolled his eyes as Yamapi led the dancer toward their table. He hadn’t been too fond of Jin to begin with he was loud and gave off the impression that he thought he was better than others he only ever really hung out with him for Yamapi. He would keep his opinions to himself for now. The man had just lost his wife and was facing single parenthood. He looked over at Ueda who sitting at the other end of the group of table. He looked tense and was facing Koki. Hopefully big mouth would realize that it was not the time to approach the other male. He put a smile on his face as the two sat down.

“Can I hold the baby?” Tegoshi asked, “Jin needs to eat and it would be easier if he didn’t have to hold the baby…”

“Then how would you eat?” Yamapi asked his boyfriend.

“You could feed me… Can I hold her?” Tegoshi asked turning toward his boyfriend’s friend.

“Yeah sure… just be careful.” Jin replied handing his baby carefully to the younger man.

“Of course.” Tegoshi replied holding the baby carefully and smiling. He had seen Hiroto holding her on the bus and asked him questions when he had them, like when she cried and he seemed to know exactly what to do to calm her down. He asked how he’d known how to do that and Hiroto explained about his hand in raising Aki. Tegoshi admired him, and was envious of his chance to raise a daughter with the men that he loves. Tegoshi may never get that now but he could at least help out his friends now…

Ueda found himself glancing toward the other end of the tables at the man he had once been his whole world. They hadn’t been in the same room since they had found him. It was strange to be so close to him and yet so far… unable to say anything. He wouldn’t even know what to say. He didn’t know when he would be ready… he was thankful that he had Pi to keep him company and that most of NEWS were at the other side of the table with Alice Nine, they had at least four groups in between them which was over 15 people.

Kai noticed the looks Ueda was giving the other side of the table to his ex. He moved his hand tentatively to run over his backs, hoping the motion would ease him and not make him even more uncomfortable. Ueda looked at the drummer smiling to reassure him.

“So, I watched some of one of the drama’s you were in. You were my favorite part.”

“Thanks…” Ueda responded looking down.

“I like your hair much better now though. Black and styled that way…”

Ueda blushed before meeting his eyes. “I needed a change… after everything that happened… I could have grown my hair back the same way but… When I looked in the mirror…” Ueda shook his head trying to block it out. “So new style.”

Kai could understand that, being a jrocker they changed their style a lot. He had been guilty of changing his look a few times because of an ex. Not that they ever really needed excuses. “This one really suits you, though I did like your hair before.”

Neither man noticed the eyes that were watching the exchange sadly. “They’re just talking Jin…”

“I know but look, I haven’t really seen him smile like that in interviews since…”

“They just met Jin I hardly doubt they’re ready to walk down the isle. You may be making something out of nothing. And anyway what should it matter if he does find happiness in someone else. You left him in a horrible fashion… You could have handled that better.” Yamapi said over a snort from his boyfriend.

“Don’t you think I know that? Don’t you think it killed me every day I woke up and he wasn’t there… I love him… I loved her too… just not the same way.”

“This isn’t the time for this.” Nao spoke up from his seat beside Tora, “that is a discussion for a different place and beating him up about it now is not going to change anything.”

Jin looked at the other male appreciatively. He’d never met this man and he was sticking up for him.

“I’m Nao, I’m…”

“The drummer for Alice Nine… Junno really liked you guys.”

“We will talk about this Jin. I know what happened can’t be undone, but I know that you haven’t dealt with this any more than Ueda over there. You have us to talk to remember…”

“I know and I will talk to you… but Nao over there is right it’s not the time. This should be a… happy occasion.”

“As happy as it can be.” Tora chimed in.

“I know. We’ll all do our best. We’ll have one last ‘normal’ day…” Yamapi responded turning to his boyfriend and feeding him another bite. He felt silly doing this but he’d do anything for his boyfriend. Tegoshi smiled at his boyfriend chewing the food and rocking the baby…
