Junno walked into his room and took a brief moment to himself. He knew he couldn’t take too much time but if he just had a minute… that’s all that he needed. Junno started pulling things out of his closet as Koyama came in after him. “You’ve been on guard duty so far are you handling things ok?”
“As well as can be expected I suppose… if MatsuJun hadn’t gotten that early warning… we could have come to the same fate as Kajani8 every one of us… If we hadn’t heard that scream…” Junno replied handing a bag to Koyama so he could work on Junno’s drawers.
“I know what you mean… if Ryo wasn’t with us today… I don’t think that’s even hit him yet that he lost all of them… we all lost them; I think it would be best if we don’t mention it around him.” Koyama suggested. None of them had really had an opportunity to grieve for their lost friends and coworkers. They knew that they had to keep moving, it was obvious from what they could see outside. The more places they went the worse it got outside. They were lucky that they hadn’t been invaded while in any of the apartments or on their way to and from the buses. He was sure they’d have time to grieve later.
“Your right, of course… that would be… thoughtless…” Junno agreed as he continued packing. It was easy for him to forget that he had been a member of both bands if he had mentioned that in front of anyone else… “I tried calling my family when I was guarding with Maru… I couldn’t get through. I don’t think any of us will. Trying to find them would be pointless.”
“Oh Junno, we’ll do what we can. You have us... we have eachother and our new friends.” Koyama hugged his friend before going back to work.
Junno nodded, “Yeah they’ve been very helpful I can’t believe there are two in our apartment right now… I would have thought they’d want to stay on the bus. Especially Saga since that’s where is band members are.”
“They all seem very nice. Did you notice that Saga in particular seemed to jump at the chance to come up here.”
“He’d been on the bus for a while he was probably just antsy he’d been on the bus for a while.”
Koyama smiled and shook his head “You’re probably right. I think I finished this bag I’ll take it out and leave it by the door, do you need anything?”
Junno shook his head, “No I’ll be ok. We’ll probably have to leave more than I’d like…”
Koyama nodded and left the room as he said he would. Junno got another bag out and placed it on his bed before he heard the door to his room open. “Are you back already, Keii. I have another bag for you…”
“So this is the average room of a Johnny?”
Junno jumped at the unfamiliar voice and turned to find the blond bassist they had been speaking of. “Why do you say that like we’re all the same? We like different things, why would our rooms look the same?”
“You hear things sometimes.” Saga surveyed the room not surprised to find a picture or two of the other male’s band and of him solo. What did surprise him was the poster on the wall above the man’s desk. It was a poster of Alice Nine. That was definitely not something he expected from the Johnny in front of him. It didn’t mean he crushed on either and if he crushed on the threesome it wouldn’t matter but it opened the possibility that he could have a crush on one of them. He could definitely work with that, this man became more and more interesting with everything Saga learned just from observing and being in his apartment.
“So I see you’re a fan of our work do you have a favorite song?”
“GEMINI-0-eternal.”
The fact that Junno didn’t just say Rainbows or Hana surprised him even further. He was actually a fan and didn’t just go with one of the more famous songs. “Is there a special significance to the pictures of you? Or do you just like looking at yourself because that’s what mirrors are for.”
“Fans send us lots of things, even pictures of ourselves sometimes.” He looked down embarrassed as he explained. That wasn’t really something that he had expected others to see though he knew people knew about it, they had revealed to their fans on their show. Something about someone outside of Johnny’s Entertainment seeing it firsthand made it seem sillier. “It’s not like I’m the only idol to do it.” Junno turned around and went back to packing to distract himself from the situation.
“I’m sure that’s true…” Saga was interrupted by the door opening again and Koyama starting to walk in.
“Oh!” he stopped and looked between the two. “Are you going to help, Junno?”
“No I should go back out and help Kai… I just wanted to… check in with one of the owners of the apartment. I should know one of them better if I’m going to be helping in their apartment. We had a nice talk didn’t we, Junnosuke?”
Junno nodded not sure how he felt about the other man using his full name, almost no one called him that… it was strange to hear the name come from the bassist. He watched the bassist walk out the door and Koyama close it behind him before he moved to start packing again.
“Well, that was weird.” Koyama stated as he started filling the bag Junno had left for him.
“You don’t have to tell me that. I thought you had come back, but it was him and he noticed my posters of myself… and the one I had of them. I guess it’s not that weird just…” Junno shook his head. “We should finish I’m sure Maru’s already done.”
Saga smiled to himself as he exited the room and moved back to the bag he had been packing, he had been told to get video games and his gaming systems just in case. Saga thought it was probably a waste of time since they didn’t even know if they’d have electricity but he would do as he was told.
“Where did you go?” Kai asked looking up from what he was doing.
“I just went to talk to one of our hosts. That’s not a bad thing is it?”
“I guess that depends on what you talked about.”
“Just average stuff, Kai, I promise. I didn’t parade him with inappropriate questions.”
“I’m glad to hear that.”
“That is for later. We have to get better acquainted before I can do that.”
Kai chuckled shaking his head. “And I’m sure you’ll work hard to make sure that happens sooner rather than later.”
“Of course I will. If we like eachother enough then why prolong it. I know we just met… but the man is interesting. And have you seen that neck? It’s perfect for licking…”
“And that is your favorite thing to do.”
“One of my favorite things at least, I can think of a few things I like more.”
Kai shook his head Saga had just met the Johnny and he seemed to already be planning some sort of a trap. The world could be ending but it didn’t seem to be affecting the bassist to much at all. He was a wonderful fighter and he already seemed to be picking out his “mate”. It would definitely be something to watch. He admired Saga’s certainty and how he was sure the bassist was going to fight for it. His eyes wandered to the boxer that he had been spending time with. All he knew for sure that he could do was be there for him and listen if he ever came for him. He just couldn’t wait to get back and be with the rest of his band. He would feel much better when they had a set plan for what to do next.
