10 facts about Aisling O'Connor
((AKA, what happens when the mun gets bored of watching videos in her geology lab.))
1. Is well aware that her name is technically pronounced Ashling (or a variety of other ways) and considers Ashley to be a nickname.
2. Took tons of lessons for a wide variety of things as a kid including: ballet, piano, Irish step dancing, archery, flute, and sewing. The only ones she can still say she's good at are archery, sewing, and ballet. The less said about her musical endeavors, the better.
3. Her parents went through a rather messy divorce when she was 13 after she walked into her father's office and caught him having sex with his secretary/mistress. She, quite understandably, has couple issues with her father due to that (and also is kind of traumatized, because EW. PARENT HAVING SEX. DNW).
4. She has three older brothers: Patrick (30), Shaun (27), and Liam (22).
5. She aspires to go to school to eventually become a psychiatrist. Or a fashion designer.
6. She would completely hate working as a waitress if it weren't for the fact that it's a perfect way to collect gossip. (But if the other two Ashleys ask, she refuses to spill where she gets her info from.)
7. She's on the school's soccer team.
8. Her dad occasionally gives her what she considers Gifts of Guilt to make up for various things that he's missed due to work or being on vacation somewhere with his mistress-turned-wife.
9. Due to her dad's obsession with Ireland, she's been there on vacation three times. Much as she refuses to admit it to his face, she can almost understand why he fell in love with it.
10. Despite what people might originally think, her two favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas. And Black Friday.
