fun stuff goes on
I unclogged the bath tub drain a couple of days ago, finally! And then today, I (hopefully) figured out why water was accumulating on the basement floor. It appears the dehumidifier wasn't auto-shutting off when it was full, and was instead overflowing. I feel really relieved to find this was the problem - let's hope it was the only problem. It feels really good when I finally figure out house stuff like that.
Tonight is the Magnolia Electric Co. show at the Bug Jar. I scored free tickets for me + 1 to this show, Wolf Eyes on the 29th, and Xiu Xiu on October 17th! All I had to do was email the WBER radio station to request them! I guess that's an advantage of living in a city where not much fun stuff goes on - when fun stuff goes on, I can be right on top of it because there's not much interest around here.
I have a drag show on September 28th and also October 5th - Movie / TV soundtrack theme night!!!
I'll be visiting Bethany in Mini-apples September 22-27!!! I'm really excited and also nervous.
Then October 1st, Arthur is moving to Rochester and is going to live in our basement! Hopefully by then, the water will be cleared out, ahahhaha.
