Here's the deal: I'm working on three RP applications this coming week while I have the free time to do so, not to mention my internet is lagging like chilled molasses during the day and we're finally getting the cable guys out to work on fixing it. Soooo

By the way, while I know you're online, have you heard from Kiwi? I'm working on my application for Dr. Nii for bubblevoid today and I want to talk to her about the possible concepts he could bring in, which range from the Minus Wave to power limiters to a whole variety of stuff from his canon that could really screw with people if they're implemented.

And no, actually, only sparingly. I think she's been busy lately or something. If I do see her, I'll pass on that you wanted to talk, though!

Okay, I just wanted to be sure. I'm sure she knows since I've mentioned it before... we just keep winding up spending three or four hours fangirling yarn instead of getting to it. |^D Thanks, Vivi!

OMG don't worry, we do that too! LOL I didn't know you knitted! I just started a few weeks ago and it's sucking up all my income already. The worst thing is, I can't even feel badly about it. XD

Crochet, actually. Unfortunately all my crafting supplies are all packed up or I would be going nuts with it. The last time I was with the local crafting circle I got this pattern for making a gorgeous choker out of yarn and wire and I'm itching to try it out!
Obligatory pimping: I'm one of the mods of nacramamo! Hopefully Simbel and I can get more than a handful of members in it this year and maybe get the whole thing more organized! -hinthint-

Ohhh, crochet. I've never tried crochet, something about just one needle weirds me out or something idk. lol I'm going to have to learn just to do some lacework and edging pretty soon, so we'll see how that goes. XD; --Aww, I'm sorry it's all packed up, I'm sure that sucks. :<
OMG that sounds awesome!! I'm totally joining and pimping it out to people, don't worry. :D I always feel mournful about NaNoWriMo too - finally something I can actually accomplish! Can I volunteer to make shiny buttons that say "I won NaCraMaMo '09"?

It's easier for me, probably because I figured out how to do it without the needle when I was a kid and I'm just so used to working with wire, which requires you to work one-handed.
That's pretty much the conversation we had over on craftgrrl two hours before we started the entire thing! We talked, I set it up, and then two days later it was starting! Simbel and I need to sit down sometime in June or July and actually plan out the campaign and events for this year. I want this one to be better organized and more "official." If it goes well this year I'm going to see about getting donations for making a site for it, too, with any excess after registering the domain and getting server space going to a charity the community can vote on. We can see how big we can get this thing ( ... )
