Letters from the past
CAT! forgive me for neglecting this most wonderful of communities ^^;;;
Hopefull I can get many thigns posted soon.
Reading the old letters in The INvaders comics from the 70's can be pretty fun. This one though, made me sad in that it IMHO pretty much explained why Toro and Bucky were never really developed much beyond the general sidekick sterotypes and why they were written out mid way through.
I'm really happy we have writers now who seem fairly determined ot use both Bucky and Toro and integrate them as real assets to the Invaders team rather than just teenage sidekicks, which IMHO it never made any sense for them to be.
So umm well bah to the Invader team back them for not caring for Toro and Bucky!
Sadly, there was also lots of hositility for Jackie and Brian. People seemed to write in really wanting more Miss America and Whizzer..... which honeslty, I disagree with as I think Jackie and Brian were more itneresting characters and made snese that it wouldn't be all Americans!
