This is based on as snippet from something Mint Riddell and I were tossing about. Later we were discussing the differences between Bucky, Steve, and Toro coming back, noting that, of the lot of them Toro lost his the life he'd managed to make for himself after the war, and his wife, which was an interesting difference that Marvel sorta wants to ignore (that and he and Bucky could have a fun discussion about being brainwashed weapons for the Communists, though I can't recall of they included that in Toro's new background information).
