Invaders Scans
I figured I'd post a few scans from one of my Invaders comics
This is issue #39, and was written by Don Glut with art by Alan Kupperberg and Chic Stone (not Frank Robbins, hence why I thought I'd scan some)
The cover! Yay! Also nice young Allie nod there.
Toro is not jealous oh noooo not remotely at all nope. Jim, I think, is adorable here.
Of course I can also put on the slash goggles and re-interpret this scene as tow hy he is upset over Bucky liking Gwenny =P
Ok . . . Gwenny's outfit dips *really* low. Also, this is creepy, IMHO
Gwenny kicks ass on her own
No really, she kicks ass, she in fact kicked ALL the ass. And Bucky is so happy he can't contain himself. And fails. hard. Toro meanwhile is miffed, and Jim continues his observations on teenage romantic issues.
Oh NOES!, Gwenny likes Toro not Bucky!
And it seems Toro can transport because one second he's with Jim in front of a smashed wall, and then he's on the other side, away from Jim in front of a fixed wall.
No, I don't know where Davey is . . . .
