Lady Invaders
Here's an older peice that I never got around to posting ^^
I drew it a while ago to express my preference for these ladies over Peggy when they announced Peggy in the movie (and I'm still hoping against hope that Spitfire, at least, is in there!).
Even more so though, I wanted to express my general annoyance that the article I read defined Peggy as "Cap's girl", and nothing else. Gah, she fough for the French Resistence and the important thing to the studios is she dates Cap ;_;
That's where Spitfire's line came from.
I reaaalllly need to do more with Gwenny. I just got some more comcis with her (shall be scans soon) and there's a lot of fail in them (it's the 70's), but she is a good character. Her and Spitfire.
. . . . and yeaaah Golden Girl.
Way to short. *blush* I always forget that despite being Fred!Bucky's replacement and using the name "Girl" she was a woman.
I hope the movie proves me wrong and all these ladies are in it, in some fashion. That would make me gleeful ^___^
