I woke up this morning ready to have an early lunch (not brunch) with my mom, brother and grandpa. After that I was under the impression I had to go to Whitehall Terrace and finishing filming for a project. I love how magical Whitehall Terrace looks typed out. For those of you who don't know, it's not really that magical. We did not film today, so I found myself with an entire afternoon free. No work. No class. Not HOT DATES. THAT was freaking oh-so magical, as was the portabella mushroom sandwich I had for lunch. I did some productive work, but spent a good chunk working on the world's worst jump shot.
If anyone in my apartment building happened to get footage of my shoot around it will probably be a hit viral video. ESPECIALLY after the ball got stuck in the net and I couldn't knock it out, due to my awful jumper. I had to go to my car and get a freaking window scraper. Seriously "white dude with terrible jumper can't get ball unstuck so he has to go and get a window scraper to knock it out" would be a viral vid for weeks. As for the terrible jump-shot, I have a doctor's note for that. I just hope no beautiful babes saw.
On top of all that, I did my laundry, did some wonderful texting and watched the full NBC Thursday night lineup. First time seeing Community and I think I liked it. Reminded me of "Always Sunny" but less greasy. I've always said that show is a "greasier Seinfeld" but Community is not quite as grease-less as Seinfeld. I like the jewish girl on there, I hope she didn't seen me trying to fish the ball out of the net. Pretty sure she didn't.
Also, I got a dang twitter response from
Michael Ian Black. Obviously he is great at twitter and probably my favorite comedian, so that was the icing on the cake of a great day. It'd be a carrot cake.
