Wings
With another's assistance, I have obtained wings. With these, at least I can see more of the City...but I have still not determined a way to leave. Until I can, I will simply deal with this place and what it has to offer.
On another note altogether, I wonder if the deities are the wonders they seem to be or -- as I assume -- they are simply mortals with influence over this disturbing place...and are therefore subject to roughly the same rules of life and death that most are.
