Many of you poor unlucky souls who have been reading my entries for a while will recall that I did a post on
frugal sources of birthday cards and the benefits of having a stash on hand.
If you read all of my prose, you'll recall that I gave my opinion as not being someone who valued greeting cards and didn't understand why someone would.
Well, today on Reddit,
someone else dared to question the almighty greeting card. I was happy to see that I'm not alone, because sending greeting cards to people who don't value them is not frugal behavior: it is a waste of money and it creates a trash problem.
That said, sending greeting cards to someone who does value them is frugal because (discount; see link above) greeting cards are a low-cost way to maintain social relationships.
