Well hello again livejournal! Here I am once again, wishing that I had kept up with jotting down my thoughts.
This year got off to an interesting start, with the longest experience of the flu I've ever had. The worst of it was 24 hours, and 7 days of on and off nausea after that, I finally well enough to work. Despite the late start and not being a fan of New Year's Resolutions, there have been some very good changes this year. I have not been spending much time with friends since Stephen and I met, so I have been making a point to make more plans with them. I ended up unexpectedly going to a cheer competition with a teammate I haven't seen in 10 years. I was also about to put an end to the YAC group when we had a few great new people join us for an event. Together with the Agape group, we finally have good teamwork and the resources to do good things. The new gym I have been working out at also offers massages, and I think really helped the muscle in my thigh that has been sensitive for a long time.
I had a couple good experiences last weekend as well. I bowled what may have been my personal best, 146, with Stephen's family. I was also told that I would be cantoring mass on Sunday. For a change Leszek was playing with our mass. I practiced it a whole lot, had some help with my focus practicing because Stephen was here, and did a pretty good job on it. Stephen and I also did well on our duet Christmas Eve. I have also been been working more on piano fundamentals.
