Unwelcome Occupants

Nov 04, 2007 04:58

I sleep with my confusion and wars
With or without out you, lately
There is no peace in your presence tonight

Shallow intervals are shadowed and swallowed
By something so sincere in its silence

Instead of being engrossed within you
It is myself, I dance with tonight
Albeit a dance
Of a much more subtle and destructive nature

All the intricacy lies introverted
Seemingly violent scenes scar my mind

I would rather place the softest kisses, strategically
But you've turned more than just your back to me
Tonight
