24 hours on and I'm still lying flat on my back in pain. I'm beginning to regret saying that I would definitely be back at work tomorrow, because I really don't know how I'm going to cope. I'm still doing my regime of lying down, walking around the house and lying down again and I hope that this works. I'm watching daytime television as a punishment for my painful back because, if it is all hypochondria then I don't want to reward myself with treats. At the moment it's Escape To The Country. In Essex. Hmm.
The good news is that I rang the council and British Gas to sort out the money that I owe them. While the council wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped - I basically have to pay them £162 by April - British Gas were pretty good. All that I had to do was reinstate my direct debits to them (which I was going to do anyway) and the bills will sort themselves out. So I'm pleased with that. I'm not out of the water yet though as I'm still not coping with my payments with my car all that well, and wanted to try and sort something out with that. But still, 2 out of 3 is alright!
Yesterday I watched an episode of Allo Allo on youtube. It was great. Not because it is funny - it's not - but because it reminded me of being young. It also has four stunningly beautiful women in it, which is always a help. The great thing about it is that I watched the pilot episode, which means that I don't have to watch any other episode because virtually all of the jokes and plots are continuations and repeats. I fucking loved that programme when I was 10 though.
That's the problem with being ill or injured - fuck all happens.
