On frustration and hot lemon
I'm listening to the Manic's latest album. And I'm finding them as frustrating as ever because I like it, but it somehow falls short of greatness. Maybe its a grower. It does have a fairly decent cover of John Lennon's Working Class Hero as a hidden track though. I'll give it a few more listens and post a review on thepopculture I think.
I have another cold, making it my third in as many months. This one has gone straight to my throat, although I suspect that this could be because I am run down at the moment. At work last night I had some Lemsip which make my throat and mouth go slightly numb. Back in the day a Lemsip was a Lemsip, these days saying "Lemsip" is a vague as saying "medicine". I slept in today until half past 3, which is very foolhardy considering that I'm doing an early shift tomorrow, but I was up for most of the morning reading about Led Zeppelin and members on Wikipedia and I am ill, so I'm hoping that I won't, well, die when I wake up tomorrow at 6:20.
