So my not so loyal minions,
Walked around the dam all day, found a really really nifty little flea market with tons of uber stuff,
found some old film cameras most of them junkey super 8s from the 70s, though there was one 16mm one that i liked but it was broken beyond my ability to repair it, and I dont have space for it anyway.
Had a hell of a time getting gifts for everyone mainly due to size constraints and didnt want to get generic tourist crud.
Bought myself an old leather aviator helm that will go well with my aviation goggles, trenchcoat, scarf, gloves and etc, now all I need is a luger or better yet a broomhandle mauser...
that an and an airplane but you know baby steps..... Im not insane I swear it!
Finished shopping thank goodness, but Im really out of room as it is, which means Ill have to throw away more of my stuff back in Scotland to fit everything in.
This will require a bulldozer and I imagine a bag of holding or some such magical device,
honestly its because of my computer,
but I really end up spending more time getting gifts then I do enjoying drinks *lying through his teeth*
in fact the call of grolsche and lunch is strong right now,
today went by a little too quickly but its been good, meeting some very interesting people here,
and its just nice to order my thoughts,
I think if I had gone straight back to Missouri from Scotland I'd be miserable, at least with traveling I get to clear my head and figure out how Im going to deal with situations that will arise back home as they come, plus it gives me time to kind of calm down after the whole goodbyes...
Going straight from happiness to hell is a transition that would not have been fun,
being in travel limbo will ease the process greatly..
anyway Im going to do some shopping when I get back
on the list is
MP3 Player - not sure thinking of an archos jukebox, or a creative zen older models of course and its about 1/4th an ipod price
Lee Enfield - during the summer possibly august, I'll get myself one looking at a more expensive english manufacture for quailty,
Harddrive - 300gigs at least , my 80 gig and 40 portable arent cutting the mustard anymore..
Other than though everything else I earn this summer is being saved, and put away..
