Bend me break me bad memory all around
Well its another week of uncertain outcomes and resolutions untouched...
A friend here was playing Garbage (surprised me didn't think of her as a Shirley Manson fan) which was great as I'm a huge Garbage fan but then one song with unpleasant memories attached came up and kind of made me recall events of my Junior and Senior years in HS that I would rather forget... But one can never escape the mistakes of the past and the failings they brought...
But yeah I've started working on a history paper that's due on the fourth, as much as I relish last minute panic and stress ulcers I got the ball rolling a bit early this semester.... Tomorrow I'm going to check out the resources I need for my FMS essay... I'm dreading my finals though, all my classes have an exam that is worth at least 50% of my grade.... But that is still a matter of a few months (may) so until then I can relax a bit...
It seems the movie Kingdom of Heaven is coming out May 6th in the UK? Thanks to Odivious for pointing that out to me, is it out sooner in the States (As the case usually is)... It looks amazing despite having Orlando Bloom it in it *hiss* *ducks in coming projectiles from Newtypeshadow*....
As far as gaming I'm RPG starved so I'm going back to Hitman Contracts and going for a silent rating in each of the missions... The PC is really being neglected as far as RPGs go... The last games I've managed to get a hold of that were any good were KOTOR2, and Vampire Bloodlines both of which I've beat several times over... I'm so starved for some PC roleplaying I played through Deus Ex for goodness sake...
Did a link up game of Halo in the fifth floor west wing kitchen of our halls, I got invited mainly because they needed a player to fill in controller number 8...... I enjoyed it for the most part but I'm not a huge console FPS person sticking mainly with UT and COD for PC as far as FPS go... Though SOF2 is all ace as well (despite the beef I have with the Nato and Russian rounds being interchanging)...
I've been out at the pub a fair deal as of late (cept for a knee based respite)... And I've learned to be generous more so than I usually am, that's honestly something I learned from my friend Patrick and it's served me well...
I've grown a great deal since I've arrived here and I don't mean just my drinking capacity and I'm also so much less socially reserved
(Still as self loathing and afraid but more willing to ignore it and just get out there)
Bit miffed with one of my friends for disputing my accounts of Friday night but its a small matter and I'm not too upset by it more so with the fact that said person won't admit it to me......
Lets see have a seminar bright and early so I do need to hit the hay,
How are all of you doing? You've been sparse with your LJs and most of all comments....
I might actually start logging into MSN soonish just to catch up with people back home (but I'm going to first try finish off my papers first)
Anyone happen to know a cheap source of Manfrotto tripods in Scotland? Ebay isn't panning out mainly due to shipping costs and I'm looking for something used so I don't get ganked by the Taxes here...
