Comic Con was AMAZING, to say the least. I bought tons of new posters, for myself and as gifts. Then yesterday I met up with a friend I haven't seen in a while and she gave me more posters and four packs of paper for folding origami stars as a birthday present and V, if you end up reading this, I finished folding ALL the stars at midnight last night/this morning. Origami stars: My anti-drug.
One of the highlights of CC was my autograph from Vitaly/Alexiuss, who draws one of my FAVOURITE WEBCOMICS, Romantically Apocalyptic, which I made a raving post about sometime a year or two ago. The conversation went something like this:
Me: (talking about how cool the comic is to my friends)
Him: Do you read my webcomic?
Me: O_O YOUR webcomic???
Him: Yes.
Me: O_O OH MY GOD CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH??? O_O
And he was amazing and drew me a little Mug and I couldn't stop grinning and jumping around for half an hour. And that was how I made a total fool of myself in front of someone I admired and didn't even care. (My friend got me an actual Zee Mug for my birthday. This is my happyface: ^.^)
On the flipside of my spring break is the homework, which I don't even know how to begin to do. There's a debate on the 22nd that I have to get ready for in law class and as much as I don't want to, that will be the easy part. The OTHER thing I have to do is a research report for the same class, but it's not a BOOK research report. I have to GET IN CONTACT WITH AN 'EXPERT' on the case I've chosen and guys, I don't even know. Who is an 'expert'? Why will they want to talk to, let's face it, some kid about an important case? What if nobody replies and I've sent like fifty emails to each person I've tried to contact and it's two weeks from the deadline in class and *panic*. Nevermind that ohgod talking to people I don't do that and what if that person that I have to talk to thinks I'm an idiot because of my age and how do I know what questions to ask I don't even get this and he didn't even give us guidelines or anything, the teacher, so I have NO IDEA what I'm supposed to do.
*FLAIL*
And then English books to research and French worksheets to do and Math homework to finish and blah, what with all the appointments I have to go to this is hardly looking like a vacation to me, but whatever. At least I get to sleep in, which is a big Yay from me.
I think I've gotten some more regular readers lately so I guess I should apologize for not being on more. ^_^;; I tend to try not to post too much about my life/stresses/activities because...well, I guess it doesn't seem that interesting to me so why should it be interesting to anyone else? ^_^;; I don't do much and I haven't even really had the time to think lately, so not much to post. But as I've always said, I read all my friends' entries even if I don't comment and it's always nice to open up my LJ and see what everyone's doing~
