(no subject)
Tonight, I am bored. I keep saying that after work I'm going to clean my room, because it is a disaster, and then I get home and decide that sleeping is a better alternative. And now I think sitting in bed and writing an LJ post is a better alternative to that. So cleaning gets pushed further down the to-do list.
We did get the telescope out a little while ago to look at Jupiter and it's moons, Venus, and Saturn. I'd have to say Saturn is friggen awesome, especially with all the rings. Too bad we could only see it for five minutes, and then it dispappeared behind some trees. I wish I had more patience to sit outside longer. I'll just have to wait until the Perseids in August and maybe we can find a few shooting stars, apparently this year will be better than last since there will be no moon. I also hope there will be less mosquitos.
I haven't spoken to grandma since I left for work three days ago but apparently she is doing okay...mom took her grocery shopping and said she put all her fruit and vegetables in the child's seat, and then threw cans, bottles, crackers, etc. all over the top of them. I can't imagine they would be very tasty after being mushed. Also my grandma should be pulled over by the grocery cart police, because she swerves all over the aisles and uses it as a walker...basically acting like a drunk cart driver. I'm glad everyone survived, and I'm kind of sorry I missed it. If anyone ever sees a half naked grandma walking around corvallis looking for a bus station and is kind of limping (probably due to the amount of cash stashed in her shoes) please let me know, she's probably mine.
Anywho, I think I shall do my list backwards, and go back to sleep now. Maybe I'll clean before work tomorrow (ha).
