This is leftover from a fire of The Internet Archive on Clement Street (ironically presumed electrical in nature). Alas, it caused a lot of damage to the lovely Taishan Cafe, which has since relocated across the street as The Claypot House.

When the charred structure was pulled down, this vintage sign for Vess Cola was revealed. The company is even still in business, although it caters more to the St. Louis, Missouri area where it's manufactured. The cream flavor comes in an unusual shocking pink color! The building next to it was built in 1922, so one can assume that the painted art is even older than that.
