from a website that i normally visit pretty much sums up my ideas have any questions ask me
Why I Dislike the Bush Administration
Bush has promised relief on the middle class through his series of "tax cuts", all these "tax cuts" have done is give families some cash to put in their pocket to spend. In actuality this money isn't put back into the economy, it's used to pay for living expenses that are a necessity for one to survive. So to say these stimulated the economy, is one of the biggest loads of BS that can come from his mouth. Secondly, Bush has failed to create jobs. Sure we had a "recession" as Bush loves to put it, and lost jobs, however coming out a recession the economy should recover thus producing new jobs, oh wait, the economy hasn't recovered, nor will it with the direction it is currently going in. Thanks to the governments regulations on international trade and bullying, oil is at an all time high, gas is well over $2.00 a gallon in most parts of the country, heating oil costs is suspected to go up by 24% this winter. Outsourcing is bound to happen, as much as I hate to see it happen it does. Why should a company be expected to pay $45 an hour to a programmer in the US, when they can get the same work done in let's say India, for $10 an hour or so? I hate to say that, but if you were in the position of making profit, would you want to make as much as you can, or would you want to be fair? The joys of Capitalism. I'm not saying regulate any business, however something has to be done to give companies incentive to not outsource.
Furthermore, I will never support a politician who openly speaks about and uses his faith to pass bills and support legislation. God has no place in politics of any kind, and should be left out at all times. Let me mention the war in Iraq. How can I support a war in a NON HOSTILE country that was invaded on the false claims that they had Weapons of Mass Destruction. The President and his Advisors, openly went on TV and told the American Public he had Weapons of Mass Destruction, even though Powell was on record in 2000 saying that Iraq had no WMDs, nor could they pose a threat to it's neighboring countries. Seems like the American Public was lied to openly. Each day goes by, with more and more soldiers being killed. Some may argue they want to be there, but I bet if you asked 50% how they feel about Iraq, they'll tell you they hate it and it's the wrong place to be.
Finally, our civil liberties have been raped by this Administration like they have never been before. First came the Patriot Act, patriotic my rear, try securition, police state. This piece of legislation is the most incriminating act to ever be passed. You can kiss your right to privacy good bye, say goodbye to your right set forth by the constitution to not have your liberties violated. Anyone can be tried as a Terrorist and held indefinitely, for any crime they may commit, yes, ANY CRIME. Let's not fail to mention the National ID Card that's is currently trying to be passed in the congress. Yes, with it's nice RFID transmitter so we can be tracked, not to mention be required to show it at random times at check points, just like in Nazi Germany and papers. Tell me this is what you want, and I'll laugh in your face. This country was formed on the basis of personal liberties, not the government controlling our lives. If you try to give me some load of crap of how it protects us from terrorists, all I can say is please. Ask yourself, do you feel safer now then you did on 9-11? I don't think so. We're making more enemies then we're destroying daily. Killing innocent Iraqis tends to piss people off ya know?
In conclusion, the Bush Administration is a do nothing administration, all they have done is rape our rights, and drove our country down the drain further and further. We don't need to mention the deficit we currently have to get this point across. Look at the quality of our lives now, compared to the late 90's. That is all you need to do. No one is going to take away my liberties, they were given to me by our constitution, and I plan to keep them, I'll fight until I can't fight anymore for them.
