This is a waste of time.

It seems that no matter how many times I clean the place, it stubbornly remains otherwise.

cleaningtiems, not spotless

Is the cleanliness of this place really your biggest concern? I agree, it's in need of a pressure wash or two, but the undead are hardly menacing our wellbeing foremost with layers of dust.

No. Leaving is, but since there is yet to be a solution, I may as well make this place habitable.

At the state this place is in, the undead is probably cleaner.

I suppose that that makes some sense. We're still working on a solution so far as getting out of this place, so bear with us- and, if you like, you can also help by gathering information for the collective investigation?

As far as the undead being cleaner- I'm sure you're right, actually. At least they're never stalled long enough for dust to settle.

I will join you. A collective pool of information would be more efficient, not to mention more practical than investigating on my own.

What sort of information have you gathered so far?

And none of them look like they are badly decomposed or riddled with diseases either.

Exactly. Gathering the evidence and getting out of here and back where we belong is my utmost priority.

We've gotten together a laundry list of information regarding the Ringmaster's little menagerie... his murderer cum poltergeist daughter Cosette lives in the playground here with the souls of departed children, his purchased prize act Eleanor wanders Nihil with a turn-key jammed into her spine [courtesy of the previously mentioned murderer cum poltergeist], and the corpses that walk the town are definitely, by our suppositions, being controlled by one of the minions working beneath the Ringmaster himself-

There's a lot more. All of it crazy, to be certain, but still... apparently true. It's pretty hard to deny your own eyes after seeing some of those cleanly, mortuary-ready undead wandering around the town.

It is mine as well. I have no time to waste in this place.

I have yet to meet any of the people you have brought up. I spent most of my time looking through the books in the library for any information. There is still another floor to go, before I can give you a conclusive answer.

I find it hard to believe as well, but for the sake of returning to my world, I will put aside how illogic the fact is for now.
