I based that number on what was approximately 1/3 of each house's membership. I just went back to look at the spreadsheet and in the last month (since challenge 14, posted 5 November) it looks like you have had exactly 21 members active, so based on that it should be possible to get 7 participants even if they don't pitch in right away. I just went to your comm and it looks like you are now up to 4 members, so you're more than halfway there already! If you're worried that no one else is on LJ closer to the deadline, let me know and I'll reevaluate.

Yes, word prompts will count as 1 point each.
And of course! People coming together to discuss a theme definitely counts as participation :)

Great thanks! Do we have to do it with code boxes? It's difficult. I'm going to have images, youtube links, formatting codes, etc. This post is going to be pretty big and I want to make it look nice. May I post it to house_bright and you could reblog/share it to the main comm? Could I make it a public post to house bright? Night won't know about it, until you announce it. Or could post it to the neutral court?

Hi, sorry it took me so long to get to this.
We do need code boxes because complex formatting & things like youtube links don't copy/paste well, and we want to make sure we get your post as nice as you made it!
When I'm coding up big posts like this, here is what I do: I start putting everything together in a post to a locked comm (your team comm would be fine) and just get everything in the post where it needs to be, saving when I want to see what it looks like. When I'm happy with how it looks, I hit edit one last time, copy the whole post, go to the HTML edit option, add a few spaces at the bottom and then break out the < textarea > tag. Paste the whole code after that and close with a < / textarea > (no spaces between the brackets and the text for either of these) and your formatting will be preserved so we can easily copy/paste it into a new post.

Sounds good. I would say it's best to make one official challenge post & then do a separate overflow post, if for no other reason than to go easy on the people who don't have great internet connections! It can take a lot of bandwidth to load posts that have a ton of images and embedded media, so I'm sure the people who don't have a ton to spare would appreciate the link to the other post. However I will ask that you wait until we get the challenge posts up in the main comm before posting your extra one just so we don't "spoil" the theme beforehand.

Thank you! Yeah, I'll post the extras on the 15th. It makes it easier for me too, because I can embed palettes, fonts, songs & Deviantart resources & other things people contributed. The main post with icons & word prompts is almost ready so I'll have that for you tonight or tomorrow morning.
