Hm(updated)

Yeah, I definitely think I'm interested in seeing where I can take this whole Mary thing to. If things go well, I just might have myself a girlfriend by Christmas :-D. Not that I'm getting my hopes up or anything. I am just going with the flow with this, I wasn't looking for a girlfriend nor did I need one. But it'd definitely be a welcomed change since it has been quite a while and I have yet to experience a true relationship with someone who actually lives in the same city as me and that isn't still with her "ex". But enough of that.

This month has actually been pretty damn good. Yeah it might've had its ups and downs but the ups were a lot more substantial. Lets see, the month started with me going to see "SAW 2" and as Chris Mooney put it....it definitely is a "Kev Steinman movie" (i.e. a movie I would truly enjoy). I also worked quite a lot and got a nice amount of overtime seeing as the busiest season for my store or any supermarket for that matter just came and past. I also went along with Craig, Kristin(?), Mike Camino, Debbie and two of her friends to see "Poe Evermore" at Mount Hope. It was a blast eventhough the car ride up almost ended up being more entertaining than the show.

Then that brings us to this week, the week that proved to be a fucking rollercoaster ride. It started with monday going with Craig,John and my brother Chris to see a free screening of "Just Friends". That movie hit the nail on the head A LOT and brought up quite a bit of memories for me. One of them being the Jonette situation. In which I made a comment to Craig (for like the millionth time) that I swear that when I was "with" Samantha that Jonette liked me and that it sucks that I kind of liked her too but stayed faithful and when an opportunity to take a chance and go for her the feelings were no longer mutual. Sadly about a day or so later I found out I was right. It seems that somehow Kasey and Jonette were having a discussion about Craig(big surprise) and somehow it was brought up.....by Jonette. Granted finding out the information crushed me a bit but what bothered me more is why was she telling anyone this now? I found it to be quite odd to be honest. But moving on, about a day or so later things kind of got worse for me.....it turns out that somehow my checking account went into the red and before my paycheck was put in they charged me $152 in fees. Sad part being my check was only $142 so I still owe my bank atleast $10 and I practically worked last week for free. Another bummer came when me and Craig went out black friday shopping. We got none of the things I wanted but atleast I picked up "The Complete Works of Edgar Allen Poe" for $8 and my very own tarot deck that I've been drooling over for about four months.

Ok, now that brings us to last night....at around 8:30 Craig swung by with Kasey and Mary. I hopped in the car and we headed to Neshaminy Mall. After a bit of mallratting and being unsuccesful with even thinking of anything good to strike a conversation up about with Mary we got our tickets for the movies and headed to the pool hall to kill time. When we arrived at the pool hall I believe I started to actually shine eventhough I played terribly. I still swear Mary hustled me and has more experience playing pool than she lets on. After about two hours of laughing and Mary distracting me by either dancing or doing something provocative in the view of my shot making it impossible for me to make anything (not that I minded) we headed to the movies. We went in to go get seats and much to our amazement it was pretty empty (we saw "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" btw). So we sat for a bit (me next to Mary and two seats "saved" between me and Kasey and then Craig). After a bit Craig and Kasey went out to meet Dave and Laura and give them their tickets and left me and Mary alone to talk. I really did surprize myself by not being shy at all and pretty much went into mocking some of the previews with no hesitation in which to my credit I got some good laughs out of her :-D. We also discussed a few of the movies being shown for previews and both agreed that "King Kong" looks boring and extremely overrated and its a shame because Jack Black is an awesome actor. Then after awhile we were joined by the rest of the group and the movie started. During the first few minutes I started mocking it since I was "dragged" into seeing it and I found out so was she so I made the agreement with her that we get to pick the next movie and that if it sucked that Kasey owed us our money back for the tickets. I gotta admit the movie was pretty good, definitely not OMGWTFBBQ!!! for me but I could never really get into the Harry Potter movies anyway (I've seen em all btw). Pretty much after the movie was over we headed home and much to my dismay I was the first to be dropped off and I did kind of a fumble...while I was leaving Mary told me it was nice meeting me and all I could get out was a weak "you too". To my credit it was 3:30 in the morning and I was tired but a fumble is still a fumble. But I got to say I made a nice recovery. After a bit of sitting online I regained my composure and called Craig to make sure to wish everyone a good night for me and to tell Mary that I apologize for not sounding so thrilled for meeting her at the end and to tell her it was nice meeting her as well. So yeah I fumbled but I recovered the ball. Woooo! And according to Kasey seems like Mary thinks pretty highly of me which is awesome and I can't wait till Thursday. If things go well we'll be going to see "Just Friends" with a nice sized group of people but I am definitely making another step. I already plan on paying for her ticket and if we stop afterwards for food...that too. And if things go well enough I will definitely put the ball in her court and give her my cell number. If not, ah well. Atleast I'm improving my "game" right?

Till then or possibly later.....
