Time for another installment of Paul's ever so controversial " Give me a Freakin Break!" series. This is where i take true life current events, and expose/poke fun at how ridiculous they are. Today's is great...
"CHICAGO, May 06, 2005 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- A bicyclist has been charged with defacing a stain on the wall of a Chicago expressway underpass that people said resembled the Virgin Mary.
Gonzalez, 37, was arrested a few blocks away and charged with misdemeanor criminal damage to state-supported property.
The yellow and white stain on the cement wall of the Fullerton Avenue underpass drew national attention in April when hundreds of pilgrims began gathering at the site proclaiming it an image of the Blessed Mother.
State highway officials said the image likely was caused by road salt runoff.
Believers feared the image might become the target of vandals and had asked police to assign officers to protect the stain, which became an impromptu shrine with candles and flowers."
HAHAHAHAHA AMAZING! A Misdemeaner?? Are you Serious?? They dude messed with PIECES OF DIRT THAT "LOOKED" Like the VIRGIN MARY ha. How angry would you be if you where the Police Officer that is asked to "Guard THE DIRT" that looks like mary all day. Remember on the news when all those Catholics "thought" they saw the Virgin Mary on a cold window in Fiesta or some huge grocery store. So next time that happens, are they just going to quarantine the whole frozen food section?? And if you clean the glass, your fired and arrested?? ha ha. Ridiculous. There are definatly better things to worry about.
Um, so..... the new Mastadon video is AWESOME! There are Clowns EVERYWHERE! it looks like a cheesy rip off of that movie "Killer Clowns From Outer Space". It is sweet.
So anyway, life is the same... still good, not much different. Im feeling really motivated lately, in a way i havent felt in a long time, so thats good.
Tonight is free b.w.w for employees at the Pearland store, so that will also rule all.
Man, i gave Death By Stereo another chance yesterday, it pretty much just confirmed that they are one of the worst bands on the planet. BUT!,
10 days from now is EXTOL domination, i cant wait. YEEEESSSSSSSSS
