What the heck is grandma doing down at the Sandunes?

Man, i feel rejuvenated. So much so, that im pretty positive that i badly butchered the word "rejuvenated", but still dont care a bit.
Believe it or not, i just witness living proof that CREATIVE MUSIC is still possible to make in the music bizzz today. I was pretty much down to no hope......
I just saw this band called Mute Math, (weird name i know), but they blew me away like i havent been by a band in quite sometimes, minus bands that i allready knew were going to blow me away before hand. Anyway, their style included hints of Jamiriquoi/Maroon5/U2/Refused/dance/electronica/(i dare to say indie because the singer wasnt singing off key and complaining about the president, but there was some of that thrown in there too), perfectly timed loop samples, homemade instraments.... All pieced together for one beautiful sound. It was awsome. I dont know how they are on c.d yet, but they were awsome live. A band that really inspired me to try something different in a good way, not like a stretch arm strong kinda way. ( sorry boys, i love ya, but that new shizzy's gotta go).
I know i rant alot, but its my journal and i dont care. Seeing a band like this just really makes me realize how bad most music sucks these days. Ive really taken the eric brandtner approach these days and im loving it. For those of you who dont know what that approach is, it goes like this.... "Assume that everyband sux until they can prove to you differently". Its a harsh, negative approach... but i find it more often than not really accurate and effective.
O.k, im done with that.. so life is lookin up.
I work tons of hours, and dont get to see my family/lady/friends as much as i would like to, but im trying to do the task that has been handed to me to the best of my ability. Its workin out pretty well so far. God has been tryin to work on me like nobody's business.
So this blasted election is finally over. I was watchin the play by play last night like it was the friggin world series or somethin. I actually gained a little more respect for my nation after the results of yesterday. It just proved that more people in this nation saw straight through the liberal media, propoganda, distortions of truths, mtv,Green day, P Diddy,Micheal Moore, and everyone in the brainwashed music industry than the people who didnt. For this makes me proud. Whats funny to me is, if John Kerry would have gotten into office, most of the kids who voted him in , will probably hate him by 2008. By then, hating Kerry will be the cool thing to do. Or maybe not, who knows... Green Day will be 40 by then and not playing any more, so they wont know who to vote for HA HA. Im kidding everyone by the way, just wanted to address that before i get 54 hate comments ha. Everyone has their own opinion, its cool. Moving on.......
My chickadee has a new job thats she allready doing very well at. Im proud of her.
i wanna jam bad,,,

One last thing, i wanted to commend everyone on their amazing outfits the other night. Everyone looked astonishing in their own right. From the caped crusaders, the scantily clad ladies, the mafioso Jimmy Donkey Punch, nintendo characters, pirate wenches, Dudes with wigs of what appeared to be...their own hair, trekies, the 96 prez himself, transvestites, and last but never least, my own girlfriend.. with her accidental, but more permenant costume of..... sexy school teacher." Mrs Davis, will you got to prom with me?" congrats to everyone.
Love to all.......
