Chris tries not to be bitter about it. he knows they weren't the smoking hot pretty boys that society labeled as 'gay' now-a-days; but he couldn't help but feel jealous. All these fans screaming over the fact that Pete Wentz said he was 'half-gay'. Seriously, why did this have to be such a big deal?
But in a way, he was happy at the same time. If he was open about it, he'd instantly become an accessory. Society would make him a sex symbol, just like Pete, Gabe, or Brendon. He didn't want that, he'd rather make music happily than be famous for liking guys. Society was fucked up that way. He'd mentioned this to Darren before, many many hotel nights ago. Darren had laughed a little, nodding in agreement.
"Well, if it makes you feel better," he had mumbled, lips to Chris's ear. "I think you're sexy with or without gay-cred."
