Life is full of changes
As this year has gone on, I have slowly but surely came to hate my major, and Michigan tech in general. So, instead of becoming a depressed and angry asshole, I decided to do something about it. The solution......I am switching out of the mechanical engineering department, and most likely leaving Michigan Tech. I have decided that I will most likely be persuing a career in english, with a minor in either writing or journalism. I know, it's a big switch, but I want to do what I think is best for me. I love writing, so I think doing english will be great for me. I will most likely be transferring to Northern next semester, which is sweet, cuz I'll be closer to Erycca, Brandon, and whoever else wants to hang out.
On kind of a sad note, I don't really think anybody gives a shit that I'm leaving. I told all the guys in my house that I was probably leaving, and not one of them asked why, tried to talk me out of it, or even talk to me about it in general. I'm not surprised, cuz I have lived my life accepting that people aren't really gonna care if I'm around or not. It was just wishful thinking I guess that maybe I would make a difference for once.
Anyway, I don't really care, because I know there's people that really love me, and that's all I really need.
