Gun crimes plummet as gun sales rise
Twice this week, CNN has debunked a Michael Bloomberg/Barack Obama claim that mass shootings have reached epidemic proportions and have become a “new normal” in America. In fact, mass shootings have remained flat over a 40-year period, even as the population has continued to rise.
Even though a majority of people believe that gun crimes have increased in the past 20 years, in fact, they have decreased. And not just by a little bit -- gun crime has been cut about in half.
