Sounds a lot like (gasp!) complaining ...

Recently a forum member posted the following on the What in the World thread:

"The Florida House Republicans are trying my patience: they've decided to attempt not one, but two, restrictive abortion laws. Republican Marlene O'Toole disingenuously pontificates, "certainly we can agree as a civilized society that a viable life deserves a chance." Well, while in utero, perhaps--but the Republicans certainly agree that, once the kid pops out, he's on his own: his slutty mother then does not deserve access to health care via such dens of Satan as Planned Parenthood, and she sure shouldn't feel entitled to food stamps; she also shouldn't think for a second that she is worthy of pay equal to a man's.

And Charles Van Zant helpfully mansplained that "This bill has nothing to do with any war on anyone, woman or anyone else. It has to do with the defense of an unborn child." Of course, the bill only targets women and places the House Republicans squarely between a woman and her doctor--because government knows best when it comes to wimmin stuff. And, again--eager defense of the kid while s/he's unborn. Once s/he's toddling around, the brat better not be looking for a Head Start program, or a subsidized school meals program.

'Cause they're so much cuter when they're unborn. Or something like that.

GAH! So infuriating."

This sounds an awful lot like complaining to me. Indeed, one might even describe it as that most objectionable of acts, whining. I wonder if the HPN Moderators are going to slap this member with a four-day ban, like they did to me.
