OK, just had to talk a bit about Half-Blood Prince, since I feel that I haven't talked too much about it
I am going to see it, just to let everyone know. My sister convinced me, I was about to protest against Warner Bros for delaying the premiere with such a long time (!) and only buy the DVD, not seeing it in cinemas.
Ah, anyway, my Draco-aka-Tom-Felton-crazy sister convinced me, along with my best friend who wants to give me the ticket for it as a Birthday Gift for me :) It's very usual for us to give each other a cinematic experience, it's easy and there's always something you can watch - and you do not have to keep it a secret XD
So now we are four people going, not sure if more people will join up. It's me, my best friend, my sister and my sister's ex (nowadays best male friend). We haven't decided exactly when, but I think it will be on Thursday or Friday.
It all depends on when me and my family are going to the zoo, actually - feels like you will fall asleep even during the best of movies after a full day among all those wonderful animals ;)
Oh, also had to tell you - the twins (James and Oliver Phelps, playing Fred and George) were in Stockholm yesterday, I think. My sister was crushed when she realised she'd missed it - she'd been ranting about going up there just to see them, for months, and now she missed it since she thought it would be next week!
Feel a bit bad for her, though it's har to know when such things are going to happen when you're not around the place where it shall happen XD At least here in Sweden.
(Random gossip: my sister is actually very lucky, since she's met one of the Gold Medal Winners from the 2004 Olympics. Henrik Nilsson won one of the canoe-comps together with another man. She's actually been in his house for a while... The reason was that her best friend's father is his coach, and also he's a former world champion XD)
OK, back to HBP
Seems like it's going to be a very cool movie. I've seen tons of clips and trailers and I'm really excited. Probably too excited, as movies aren't, honestly, as good as the books and they definitely never match my expectations...
The only thing that I didn't like about the book when I read it was that Dumbledore died. In the books (not in the last 3 movies) he's my favourite character. For some reason, I always love those kind of old, fatherly figures (like Gandalf, Brom, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Carlisle Cullen...)
I do not like Michael Gambon's version of him, though. Richard Harris (RIP) was waaaaay better
if you're just as excited about HBP as I seem to be, shout it out :D
