Back in the right place

Feb 08, 2009 18:44

So, after one week in Germany I am back in Sweden. Came back at 01.00 in the morning yesterday and spent my awake time (about 10.30-23.00) reading e-mails (seriously - I get about 100 e-mails a week nowadays!), going through what had happened on several sites, meeting my friend again for the first time in ages and... yeah, lot of things to do

So, since I've got quite a lot of things to talk about and you might not want to read it all... click the title of the cut you're most interested in and you should be taken to the right place in this looong update :)

DGA
Yep, I know - I said I should have awards up now. But things have changed. By some reason, my own results have been deleted and I have to go through all videos again (have I mentioned how much I hate my computer?). Also, I haven't recieved one of the other judges' results yet. Hopefully everything will be done until next weekend, I can only have fingers crossed for that.
And new challenges and results for old challenges will be posted next weekend. Since I'm a big fan of crossovers and AU's, the old crossover-challenge will be back up again with slightly changed rules and also another challenge that I'm planning will be up, which will be judged by several judges (tell me if you are interested!!)

Trip to Germany
First of all; thanks everyone who was a part of this one week exchange - it's been wonderful and I will never forget it <333
So, this last week has been wonderful and for the first time in ages, I've actually been able to do things during the evenings that does not include study. Between Monday and Wednesday, I was at the cinema once and with friends the two other evenings. Great! And for the first time I've also been up in a skyscrape :D Can't wait to do it again.
So, for those of you who have no clue about where I was - I was in Germany, in the town Frankfurt Am Main. I lived with a family, who's daughter had been living in my home here in Sweden last Autumn. The idea with the exchange was that the Germans would be able to practice their English and we Swedish people would be able to practice both German and English... we actually taught the Germans some Swedish as well, because they wanted to ;)
Anyway, memory of a lifetime and I can't wait to see you guys again!

My stories
I've had some requests to put up stories and even though there aren't too many votes in the poll, I will try to put them up :) I'll start with Purple Sky, as it is my main project right now. Just have to translate the first chapter and it will be up.
