"He's not coming back"

I remember always staring at Alexander McQueen's collections the most whenever TLo posted them. His and Chanel, I always pay attention to. Their aesthetic draws my attention whenever I see it.
Or drew, anyway, since McQueen passed away this morning. It makes me sad. But it's also amazing to see an entire generation of kids, who loved his rebellious style, mourning for him.
All day I've been reflecting on this. Even though I never wore any of his pieces, McQueen's aesthetic has influenced the way I dress. I love all the elements that are essential to his line. (And yes, even the lobster claw shoes, which I first thought were ugly, but just yesterday I saw them somewhere else and was happy to see them again. I love them after all!)
So... RIP. Really. We need more designers like him, more creatives like him. He stood out from everyone else on the runway. But as one collage said, "He's not coming back".
