Ladies and gentlemen of this fine LJ community;

Two weeks from today, I am getting married. Two weeks from today, all (most of) my favorite people from the past and present will be all together for one day; the best one of my life. Two weeks from today I will see people I haven't seen in years. Two weeks from today, there will be a beautiful wedding and a KILLER reception (which I prefer to call the "after party"). Two weeks from today, all of the parents will be crying, and I'll be trying my hardest not to. Two weeks from today I get to wear the most beautiful dress and not feel uncomfortable when people look at me. Two weeks (and one day) from today, we go to Rangeley to see Foreigner (our first adventure as a married couple).

Two weeks from today, I will become Mrs. Shane Koski. And I am totally okay with that, whatever the feminists say. I am excited and anxious and happy and a wee bit stressed, and tired, and poor but I am happy. No doubts, no second thoughts, no regrets; I know this is right.
