ive had the same instant messenger screen name since high school, i think and when everyone use to chat online all the time. now a days no one barely ever use it except for a few of my friends. i still have everyone's old screen name's but i dont see them online any more and if they do they come online it's for a minute and then sign off. also they would come online once every couple of years out of the blue then sign off. but as for my friends that do go online alot i dont understand why they bother cause they dont even chat.
