Test No. 1.

First plate struck with the newly mixed chemicals, of the office building across the way, with the Morrison lens, wide open, exposure of four seconds. I think I overexposed it, plate fogged over. So note - wide open, taken in the shade on a sunny day at c. 2:50 p.m. = about a 2.5 second exposure. It's sitting in the fixer now... will scan later on. Doesn't look all that great, but you can get an idea.

At least I know the chemicals work. The fixer seems sort of weak, tho'. Dunno what's going on with it. Sodium thiosulfate should give it a greyish tone, but it has the cream color as if I fixed it with... um... the other stuff. The stuff I don't want to mess with. Bad stuff.

A couple people who walked by thought the camera was cute. It's cool looking, but I wouldn't say it's cute. I dunno.

Off to numb half my mouth with Anbesol from killer huge cold sore, then off to maniac history-hater art teacher who is somehow teaching European History 1500-1914.
