Parts of speech..having SEX!
Hello...it's me...greatest procrastinator of all time. I have this assignment due tomorrow....totally just.....not doing it right now. I feel like such a slacker! Where is Chanhnie from OCD junior year? I really wonder what happened to her. Back then, I would have never been slacking off...watching crap on youtube instead of summarizing an article...I mean...that's how I used to get my jollies back then! I was all "YAY! Homework!! So excited! Maybe after I'm finished with that..I can....::looks around deviously:: read the >GASP< DICTIONARY!!" Yeah..maybe it's a good thing I ditched that chick. But OMG....assignments are dum. DUMMM. But you know what, I was actually reading the book for 102, sitting in class,, and I came across this sentence....and.....I kinda started laughing hysterically, but I had to pretend I was coughing because the teacher was all "blah, blah......blah." at the front of the room. And, in it's beautfiul, poetic words, it reads as follows:
"You are in a sense midwife to the text's meanings. Meaning is the child of the intercourse between text and interpreter."
I was all "Holy crap!! Parts of speech....having.....SEX!" Oh....that slays me.
