So I finally went to see Manilow last night, and it was so awesome. Even though I'm pretty sure I was the only one there not menopausal, it was still so worth paying for third row. I was so close, I could see the makeup! It was so great. Still kinda disappointed he didn't sing "One Voice" though. I love that song. "...if only one voice would start it on its own, we need just one voice, facing the unknown, and then that one voice would never be alone, it takes just one...voice..." That's just good stuff right there. That's good for the soul, man. And then at the end of the show, confetti BLASTED out of the ceiling EVERYWHERE! It was all "BAM!!" and there was blue streamers on my dress. So AWESOME! I heart my Manilow tee and my key chain. I put it on my keys, and every time it jingles I think "Fanilow!" I'm so old. So very internally 50. Speaking of which, those 50 year olds should be ashamed of themselves, behaving so scandalously in front of Mr. Manilow! Showing their legs, their chesticles....even trying to attack him. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I was content, not to rush the stage and be greeted by a surly body guard, but simply to sit and take in such timeless, classy music. And once again, realizing that I am very old. Oh well, what the heck, I've always been a little weird. As a matter of fact, after all the crazy things I did before, you should pretty well be desensitized to my crazyness. I admit this proudly: Chanhnie is a crazed fanilow.
So, now that my two whole weeks of wonderful birthday festivities have finally drawn to a splendiferous close, it's time to start planning for my 21st birthday. ('Cause you guys know that's what I do, right? I plan. Remember prom? Oh yeah.....I PLAN). Whatever shall I do??
