this week has been extraordinary, long days at work, jessica's graduation, meeting up with old friends. been quite exciting. This christmas season has been by far the weirdest one of my life. i guess because i have not been shopping for people yet, and i have been working in an environment that has not been shoving christmas down your throat, e.g.; waffle house, steak and shake, dairy queen. i usually am totally excited aboutt this time of year. but this year i just put the tree up today, i have not been listening to christmas music as much i usually do even though i have lots on my ipod. I guess i have just not been feeling it. Cause of the busyness of my life has distracted. me and now it is a week away and i have no idea what to get any one. But i decided with one of my friends what i was going to be doing christmas. i am going to do the christmas eve extraveganza at my parents house then i am going to go to my old church for candle light christmas church with josh and erica. then i am going to go to there house and we are going to wake up and open gifts and have fun. I think that is exciting. like i am creating my own adult traditions. Creating stability in my life which has been so absent for so long. I am excited. I want to wish everyone out there a merry christmas and happy new year. weather you see me often or not. I hope that people focus less on the gifts and the stress of getting everything that we need to get for everyone to see that this time is about fellowship with the ones we love. our family friends and other loved ones. that is what i love the most is seeing the families out and about being cheerfull and happy just to be with each other.
